Danny and Jenn started making cakes in the late 1990's for their daughters’ birthday parties. Never satisfied with how birthday cakes were traditionally designed and constantly disappointed with typical store-bought taste, it was only natural that they began making their own.

The Requests Roll In...

After seeing a few of their home-made cakes (and especially after tasting them!) family members started requesting specific designs for birthdays and special occasions such as anniversaries and baby showers. These cakes were obviously done for free but experience and satisfaction were always reward enough!

It wasn't long before friends joined in on the ordering process and normally these cakes were created at no cost as well, however, there were one or two cases of last minute requests or instances where the customer insisted on paying for these edible artistic designs. Eventually, the thought of pushing cake design into a business, even if only part-time, became a more attainable goal. The passion has always been full-time and one day perhaps Easy As Cake will be found on every corner!
