Communication through visual images is universal. Graphic Designers should always ask themselves: What am I trying to communicate? Am I communicating that message? Can I communicate more directly and simply? The main emphasis in this project was to develop, explore and evaluate a concept and present it visually.
I chose to represent the first man walking on the moon in 1969 by displaying the date in the reflection of an astronauts helmet while only utilizing yellow, black and white in my design. I created my 10″ x 14″ vertical poster in Adobe Illustrator.
